Our guest today is Arash Azizi.
Hes a historian and the author of the Shadow Commander Soleimani, the US and Irans Global Ambitions.
Hes also a senior lecturer in political science at Clemson University and a fellow at the center for Middle east and Global Order.
He's written for the New York Times and the Washington Post and is a contributing writer at the Atlantic.
Today we'll be discussing his latest book, what Iranians want, women, life, freedom, which I reviewed for the Guardian in January.
