Im the head of programming, Connor Boyle, rejoining our live event for this episode with Zainab Badawi exploring the history of Africa Zeinab is a journalist and broadcaster who has presented some of the UKS flagship news programs for the BBC and Channel Four.
Her new book is an African History of Africa, bringing together thousands of years of diverse history.
Its one very readable volume.
Joining her on stage at Londons Tabernacle Theatre recently to discuss it was the historian and author Kate Williams.
Kate is professor of modern history at Reading University and the author of several books often focusing on royal history.
