Hello, sunshine.
I'm Maria, and my name is Rory, and we are the host of the IELTS speaking for Success podcast, the podcast that aims to help you improve your speaking skills as well as your listening skills.
Along the way, we started this podcast to give you gorgeous grammar and fabulous vocabulary for your high school band, nine school.
Oh, Rory, what's the coincidence for this episode?
You have a real talent for that.
Oh, shall we talk about talents?
Yes, let's talk about talents.
It's the coincidence.
Oh, you do have a real talent for coincidences.
Yes.
Yeah.
Dear listener.
So in speaking part one, they can ask you questions about talents, and this is a new ielts speaking part one topic.
Rory, do you have a talent or something you are good at?
Well, I'm not sure if they could be considered talents in the traditional sense, but I'm reasonably good at organizing things in writing or storytelling.
Whenever the inspiration takes me.
I like putting together plans and lists, and then I do a lot of free writing in my spare time.
And of course, I've been telling a lot of stories to young people of late.
Is it the same talent in your family?
Well, my parents are rather good at organizing things and are notorious for their tick lists, so perhaps that's an inherited trait.
