Hello, lovely.
I'm Maria, and my name is Rory, and we are the hosts of the IELTS speaking for Success podcast, the podcast that aims to help you improve your speaking skills as well as your listening skills.
Along the way, we started this podcast to give you happiness, joy, and super ielts vocabulary and super ielts grammar.
So, Rory, how are your studies for Cambridge University going?
Well, not very well.
They kind of took a back seat while I wrote my new book.
Oh, I see.
Shall we talk about studies, huh?
Yes, let's talk about them anyway.
Yes, dear listener.
So when you go to the speaking test, the examiner asks you what?
First, the examiner will ask you questions about work or studies, or the examiner will ask you about accommodation.
Do you live in a house or a flat?
So we do know that these topics will be in your speaking test.
And examiner usually chooses between worker studies or accommodation.
And in this episode, well give you grammar and vocabulary about studies.
Since I am not currently studying, I have just made up an example for this episode.
So none of this is real.
But we did pick a very, very common degree subject that people do to help you out.
So in this episode, Rory is lying, dear listener.
