5 分钟Hi there.
Welcome back.
This is Harry here to help you, I hope, with your understanding of english grammar and vocabulary so that you can improve your speaking and conversational English.
As always, I'm going to read the particular sentence that I have for you today twice.
First time to give you a general understanding, and the second time to explain it in a little bit more detail.
And then we'll go through some pronunciation if it's appropriate.
And this particular sentence, somebody asked me to include some references to prepositions because they have a little bit of confusion as to which preposition to use and when to use it.
So hopefully this will help you in a little way.
Okay, so here's the first reading.
I live on the third floor, in the third apartment on the right with an amazing view of the canal from my window.
Okay, so lots of prepositions there.
Let me give you that reading once more.
I live on the third floor, in the third apartment on the right with an amazing view of the canal from my window.
Okay, so here it's not such a difficult sentence.
The words are quite simple, but we're using a lot of prepositions.
Okay, so first one I live on.
Yeah.
It's not.
I live not in.
I live.
