25 分钟Hi there again.
This is Harry, your english teacher, following up with another podcast this week.
And this week I want to talk about weight and health, but particularly weight.
W e I g h t.
That is not wait.
And I'm going to talk about weight because the last time I was speaking to you, I was talking about wonderful holidays and particularly a beautiful holiday that I had.
And of course, as a result of that, I have put on a few pounds or kilos perhaps, and I probably want, well, I definitely want to think about losing them.
So we're going to talk about aspects to do with, with that.
And I thought as a bit of fun, I would put into the podcast today quite a number of phrasal verbs, and there's a little competition for yourselves.
You can try and see.
Can you work out exactly how many phrasal verbs I use?
Okay, they're all connected with the theme, so they're interesting to use for you, they're interesting for you to identify, and hopefully you'll understand the meaning and then how to use them.
But as a little bit of a competition, see, can you work out how many I've put in?
It's quite interesting.
When you're doing an exercise, a written exercise for yourself, or you're trying to learn something, try to do something like that.
Include phrasal verbs.
We don't have to include them all the time in our speech, in our normal writing, but it's a good way to try and learn how you use them, when you use them, and try and write them in your own essays or compositions.
I often give my students an exercise like that to write a piece about the day or the morning or work or something, and try and write it using phrasal verbs.
Okay.
Well, anyway, getting back to what I was going to talk to you about was weight.
