7 分钟Hello, everybody.
This is Harry.
And welcome back to the podcasts.
Just to continue on, for the previous podcast, where we were looking at up as the preposition, but in this case, we're using it as a prefix.
So continuing with that, I have some other words to look at.
The first one, upset, second, uphold, and the third to upstage.
Okay, so all using up as a prefix.
Okay, so what do we have?
Well, to upset somebody, we can upset our neighbors.
Okay.
So we can play our music too loud.
We can have parties all night.
We can have a loud dog.
We can have a crying baby.
We can have many ways in which our neighbors might get a little bit upset with us, or they're a little annoyed or frustrated or angry.
So a parent might say to the teenager, please don't play the music so loud.
You will upset the neighbors, probably also upset the parents.
But specifically, specifically the neighbors.
If you're living in a semi detached house or you're living in an apartment block where you've got neighbors above, below, and on either side of you, so upsetting the neighbors is something you would like to avoid.
But we can feel upset.
