7 分钟Hi there.
This is Harry, and welcome back to the podcast where we try to help you with your understanding of the english language, help you with the grammar, help you with your conversation, and also how you can write and all other aspects of English in your everyday life.
So what do I have for you now?
Well, we're going to continue with our theme of traveling colocations, so let me begin.
The first one I have for you now is packaged deal.
P A c k A G E D a packaged deal, or sometimes referred to as packaged or packaged.
A package holiday.
Yeah.
So a package deal is something that combines everything.
We decided not to pick our own holiday because we didn't have time to get on the Internet and book all of the different destinations and advanced bookings that we'd have to make.
So we went into a travel agent, although many people don't use them these days, and we bought a packaged deal.
It included the hotel, the flights, the accommodation, transport to and from the hotel even included a couple of sightseeing tours while we were there.
So it was really a good deal.
Although we were locked into one location, still we were able to travel around.
So a package deal isn't such a bad idea.
We had to do nothing.
The travel agent did everything, so everything was packaged nicely.
So we had our tickets for the flight, we had our reservation on the pickup coach, we had our room booked in the hotel.
And as I said, we also had a couple of sightseeing tours booked as well, all including breakfast and lunch or dinner, whatever we wished within the hotel complex.
So this package deal turned out to be good value for money.
