  • So in this particular podcast, we're going to have a little bit of a change, and I'm going to talk about fish.

  • Yes, fish.

  • Fish we find in the river, the sea, whatever.

  • But there's a little twist to it.

  • I'm just going to give you some words connected with fish and how we use fish and certain expressions to express ourselves or to explain something to somebody.

  • Somebody was asking me to slow down a little bit in my podcast, so I'll try to speak a little more slowly.

  • Okay, so we're going to talk about fish.

  • There are lots of different species of fish, and when we talk about fish, we always use it in that single fish.

  • Sometimes we say fishes.

  • You know, there are many species of fishes, but usually fish.

  • I'm going to buy some fish for dinner.

  • What are we having for dinner tonight?

  • Oh, we're going to eat fish, or we are having fish.

  • So it doesn't matter whether it's one or it's two, or indeed, it can be a piece of fish or several pieces of fish.
