Hi there.
This is Harry, and welcome back to the podcast, where I try to help you to get a better understanding of the english language so that you can use it in business English, conversational English, and you get some practice to use those expressions, idiomatic phrases, and everything else connected with English.
As you know, we have been concentrating on some pronunciation exercises for some time, and this particular episode of our podcast is brought to you by the letter R.
And we're going to focus on the british english pronunciation of the letter R.
But before I get into the letter R, I have to mention the letter Q, because those of you who are bright and energetic will have noticed that we haven't done the letter Q.
So I'm not going to spend a podcast on it because, quite frankly, there's not a lot to say and there are not a lot of words with Q.
Most of the words that you will find with the letter Q are followed by the letter u, like queen, q.
Quite quietly, quick.
Yeah, so they're not so many, not so difficult, just to get that Q sound.
Quick, quiet, quietly.
Queen.
Quick, quiet, queen.
Okay, so that's the letter Q.
But today we're going to focus on the letter are.
Okay, so I'll go through it with you, give you some practice, and as always, if you like it and you want to share it with your friends, give them the link and ask them to come and join us.
And as always, I'll give you my contact details at the end, and I'll be able.
You'll be able to contact me and let me have any ideas that you might have.
