11 分钟Hi there, this is Harry.
And welcome back to my podcast where I try to help you to get a better understanding of the English language so that you can enjoy conversations with your friends, your colleagues.
You can travel when you can travel business English.
Look at grammar, all aspects of English that will help you to improve it and to enjoy it.
Of course, I'm glad so many of you are joining us because I get lots and lots of emails, I get lots and lots of texts, so it's great to hear from you.
I'm glad you like them and the content.
And for those of you out there who are sometimes complaining not badly about me speaking too quickly, I'll try to slow down just a little bit and hope that we keep the interest alive.
As always, if there's anybody out there that you think will enjoy it, well, why don't you tell them about it and they can get in touch with us as well.
Okay, so what we're going to do today, and this particular podcast is sponsored by the letter t.
T.
In fact, the t is quite an interesting letter because there are lots of different sounds and it presents lots of problems for people in pronunciation in particular.
So we're going to split this into two parts.
And this particular part, I'm going to focus just on the normal, natural t sound.
And then for the next podcast I'm going to look at the th sounds.
Th th, yeah.
Okay.
So I decided to split it because there's a lot involved and I want to focus on these sounds differently so that you, you won't get confused.
Okay, so let's get on with this and let me stop talking.
So how do we pronounce that?
Well, to make the sound, the target sound, t or t, you have to put your tongue behind your top teeth.
