9 分钟Hi there.
This is Harry.
And welcome back to our podcast, where we try to help you to get a better understanding of the english language.
To help you with your conversations and business English and other aspects of English, we also focus on pronunciation.
And today we're going to look at the letter v, the v sound, okay?
So we'll look at the letter v, and I'll give you some assistance with that.
As always, if there's anybody out there that you know who you think would benefit from our podcast, well, pass on the details to them, and later on I'll give you my contact details, if you wish to contact me.
Okay?
So let's move on swiftly.
So, this particular podcast is sponsored by the letter v, okay?
And we have that sound.
So when we want to make that particular sound, you've got to use your top teeth, your front teeth, and your bottom lip, okay?
So you press the top front teeth against the bottom lip, okay.
And then you push the air through the gap.
So get that sound practice and look in the mirror and see your top teeth pressed against the bottom lip.
Okay.
And then when you put your hand up to your mouth, you should feel the air coming from your mouth onto your hand.
It's like a little puff of wind.
Like a little puff of wind, okay?
So try that.
