  • Hi there.

  • This is Harry.

  • And welcome back to my podcast, where I try to help you to get a better understanding of the english language, both for conversational English and, of course, for business English.

  • And we look at your grammar, phrasal verbs, expressions, idiomatic phrases, everything to do with the english language.

  • And of course, we look at pronunciation.

  • And today, this podcast is sponsored by the letter y.

  • And at the end, I'll give you my contact details.

  • So there are two particular sounds.

  • So let's take those and go through them.

  • So, if we first of all look at y as a vowel sound, okay?

  • So, when the letter y is used as a vowel, it makes other vowel sounds.

  • Let me give you a couple of examples.
