So we're going to look at the pronunciation and the sounds with that.

Okay, so let's get on with this particular podcast.
As I said, it's about the letter z.
Now, you might think that the letter z isn't so important because we don't find it in so many words.
Of course, there are very few words where it acts that actually begin with the letter z, but it's still important from the sound.
Okay, so british pronunciation Z.
American pronunciation, Z.
So if I wanted to go to the zoo, I might want to go to the zoo to look at the zebra.
Yeah, but the Americans might want to go to the zoo to look at the zebra.
Yeah, same animal, different pronunciation.
Or if I want to cross the road, I go to the zebra crossing.
Okay.
And we always used to have a joke where somebody said, did you see the zebra crossing?
