At the end of this particular podcast, I'll give you my contact details and if you want to get in touch with me, you've got questions or issues, then please feel free to write to me.
I'm always happy to hear from you and I'll do my best to help you out.
And if there are friends or family members that you think could get benefit from these, well, why don't you invite them along too?
So what are we going to talk about in this podcast?
Well, we're going to look at some vocabulary and some words, and in particular we're going going to use and look at vocabulary connected with achievements.
Achievements is all about gaining, getting, doing, winning, whatever you've done.
What are your achievements in life?
What are your achievements in the week?
What are your achievements for the future?
What have you done?
What do you want to do and what do you have to do to get there?
So we'll look at some vocabulary connected with achievements.
I'll give you some words and phrases and then I'll give you some examples.
And as always, if you have a problem with it, come back to me and I'll try and help you.
Okay, here we go.
To head straight for the top to pursue a dream, to deal with whatever happens to be there that's in the way.
To face barriers or to face blockades or to face hurdles.
To have potential, to do something, to believe in something, to persevere with something and be careful here with the pronunciation.
To persevere with something, to keep pushing someone, to do something, to exceed expectations, your own or someone else's expectations and learning curve.
