Well, everybody loves it when we mention collocation, so that's what we've got for you.
We've got some collocations in particular, collocations with the word power or energy power, the power button, whatever it takes.
Okay, so I'm going to give them to you and then we'll give you some examples.
To have power, to gain or to get power to come to or to rise to power, to seize power, to use or exercise your power, the pulling power, consumer power, immense power, in power, power hungry.
Okay, let's try and give you some examples as to how to use them to have power.
Well, when we have the power, it means we have the energy, we have the strength to do something, to carry out something, to achieve something.
Do you have the power?
Do you have the power within you?
Do you have the strength or the desire to do or achieve what you want to achieve?
Okay.
To have power means to have control.
Who has the power in this particular family?
Who has the power in this particular company?
