17 分钟Hi there, everybody, it's Harry here.
And just before we get into the podcast for today, I just wanted to tell you about another podcast that you might enjoy.
It's called English Learning for curious minds.
It's hosted by a british native english teacher called Alastair who says you learn weird and wonderful things about the world at the same time as improving your English.
Well, if you havent done so already, id suggest checking it out for yourself.
Hes done some amazing episodes on things like the history of tea, James Bond, Peaky Blinders, and things like the English of Donald Trump.
All the episodes come with a transcript, subtitles and a vocabulary list.
So go on, give it a listen.
Just search English learning for curious minds on your favourite podcast app.
Now let's get back to my podcast.
What are we going to talk to you about today?
Well, today we're going to talk to you about verbs and in particular verbs related to beginnings.
Like always, I'm going to go through them one by one.
I have a list here of ten.
Some of them are phrasal verbs and some of them are more formal verbs.
So I'm going to give you examples of each, how to use them so that you can practice them.
Hopefully remember them, try to use them in your conversation, the next conversation you have, or the next email or letter that you write.
And again, if you have any questions, I'll give you the contact details at the end of this particular video.
Okay, let's get cracking.
Let's get started.
