  • Hi there, everybody, it's Harry here.

  • And just before we get into the podcast for today, I just wanted to tell you about another podcast that you might enjoy.

  • It's called English Learning for curious minds.

  • It's hosted by a british native english teacher called Alastair who says you learn weird and wonderful things about the world at the same time as improving your English.

  • Well, if you havent done so already, id suggest checking it out for yourself.

  • Hes done some amazing episodes on things like the history of tea, James Bond, Peaky Blinders, and things like the English of Donald Trump.

  • All the episodes come with a transcript, subtitles and a vocabulary list.

  • So go on, give it a listen.

  • Just search English learning for curious minds on your favourite podcast app.

  • Now let's get back to my podcast.

  • What are we going to talk to you about today?

  • Well, today we're going to talk to you about verbs and in particular verbs related to beginnings.

  • Like always, I'm going to go through them one by one.

  • I have a list here of ten.

  • Some of them are phrasal verbs and some of them are more formal verbs.

  • So I'm going to give you examples of each, how to use them so that you can practice them.

  • Hopefully remember them, try to use them in your conversation, the next conversation you have, or the next email or letter that you write.

  • And again, if you have any questions, I'll give you the contact details at the end of this particular video.

  • Okay, let's get cracking.

  • Let's get started.
