  • The class today we're going to look in particular at co locations for FCE or indeed any other english proficiency exam that you wish to take.

  • So we're going to look at adjectives and the prepositions and the emphasis is going to be on the correct preposition that we use with each of those adjectives.

  • So as I said, advanced english collocations.

  • As you know, we're trying to help you to improve your English, to help you to improve your business English, your communication, conversational English, looking at prepositions, phrasal verbs, vocabulary, verb tenses, whatever it takes, we're here to try and help you.

  • So what I'm going to do, I'm going to go through the list of these adjectives and their prepositions and I'm going to give you an example and hopefully you'll get a better understanding as to how to use them.

  • So let's start now.

  • There's a long list.

  • There are 16 of them today, so I'm going to give them to you.

  • And one good example for each or two, whatever it will take.

  • Okay, let's go.

  • One accustomed to, capable of, good at, relevant to, afraid of, dependent on, jealous of, responsible for, or you can be responsible too, as well.

  • Ashamed of, famous for, proud of, sensitive to, aware of, full of, ready for, or ready to, typical of.

  • Okay, so 16 particular adjectives and their prepositions, all relating to collocations, as I said, for FCE exams or any other proficiency exam that you would like to take.
