The first one at your wit's end.
When you're at your wit's end, it means really you don't know what to do.
You've tried everything.
Nothing seems to work.
You're running around in circles.
You're not sure how you're going to get out of this problem, how you're going to deal with this particular difficulty.
You are literally at your wit's end.
So you're talking to a friend and you're saying, look, I've tried everything.
I've tried the bank, but they won't lend me any more money.
I've even asked my parents and I don't really like asking them, but you know, they're pensioners so they don't have a lot of free cash.
