21 分钟Hi Matt here.
If you want to continue finding tools to a successful and happy life, I recommend listening to the happiness lab hosted by Yale professor Doctor Lori Santos.
Doctor Santos has studied the science of happiness and has found that many of us do the exact opposite of what will make our lives better.
Based on the psychology course she teaches.
At Yale, she will take you through.
The latest scientific research and share some surprising stories that will change the way you think about happiness.
This season, shes tackling topics that affect her own life like stress, perfectionism and boredom.
If you struggle with any of those, or if it sounds like you could learn more about increasing happiness in your life, then listen to the happiness lab right here in your podcast player.
One truism in business and life is that we need to adapt to stay relevant and survive.
However, many of us and the companies we found and work for struggle with this are there key approaches and best practices we can follow to help us adapt and transform?
Hello, I'm Matt Abrams and I teach strategic communication at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Welcome to think fast, talk smart, the podcast.
Today I am totally excited to chat with my friend and sometimes therapist Rob Segal, who is a lecturer of management at the GSB.
In fact, Rob and I started at the GSB on the same day over a decade ago.
Rob's teaching and research cover many topics, including the opportunities and challenges that technological change brings to companies, how companies combine digital and physical solutions for their customers, product management and product development, as well as financial management for entrepreneurs.
While some of us at the GSB teach one or two different classes, Rob teaches five or six.
Two of the most popular are the industrialists dilemma and systems leadership.
Rob recently published a book inspired by those two courses called the Brains and Brawn Company, how leading organizations blend the digital and the physical.
Welcome, Rob.
Thanks for being here and congrats on your new book.
